My hamster is a mix of several different breeds. As a result he has patches on his body where his hair grows longer than than the rest, and to keep him comfortable we give him regular “haircuts”. But one oddity we never change is the long strand of hair that grows from his forehead. It’s just a single long tuff of fur. All we have to do is give it a little spin and he instantly becomes a fabulous unicorn.
⊂(・(ェ)・)⊃ oh sweet potatoes, this is the peak of fabulousness.
I made a goody bag for Diva - Claire’s (my brother’s gf’s) little hamster ^^ I hope she likes them.. BooBear never really had a thing for vegetable stick-things.. she’d always go for the honey one’s first.. I bought that tree for BooBear but she died before she actually got a chance to nom it. Got a load of this ridiculously luxurious hamster food and this other nutritiously balanced stuff which I’m going to give Claire too.. and a box of seeds and nuts ~sigh~ Miss her every day.
Rest in peace BooBear ♥ You were the most wonderful little friend anybody could’ve wished for. Everyone who’s met you love you and miss you so much. Hope you’re surrounded by a never-ending supply of yoghurt drops, Bonios and cups of tea where you are now ;_; I will never forget you, my funny little bear.
Bought BooBear an edible tree today (she REALLY likes the edible log versions) + some coloured pulp bedding to try out.. hopefully she’ll like the pulp since it’s more “earth-friendly”. Obviously as soon as I put the tree in she’s tried to knock it oveer (. __ . )
So here’s BooBear.. haven’t posted about her in a while. If she weren’t sleeping, I wouldn’t have been able to take a photo of her FANG. She’s a bit self-concious about it. I posted a while ago about how I took her to the vet and they said that they only really file down teeth for rabbits - so I’d have to do it myself with a nail file if it starts poking her and making her bleed. She seems alright for now.. Anyone with a hamster will KNOW how hard it will be to file their little fluff’s teeth (/FANG) down ⊙_⊙
